I was born and raised in Richmond, Indiana. I graduated high school in the era of Metal and moved to Arizona in 1986.

I wanted to do something different from my friends who all played guitar, so I decided to practice bass to assist them by giving something to play upon via the bottom end. I started thumping around a year and a half ago while listening to my favorite 70s and 80s metal bands like Kiss, Iron Maiden and Rainbow, to name a few, and discovered how cool, intricate and melodic the bass lines were.

Randy, a talented guitarist, came along and helped me submerge myself into the life-long process of learning. He introduced me to other musicians where we became friends, and I began to apply what I learned. Mean Streak emerged several months later with lots of practice, trials and changes through this endeavor. I would like to give many thanks to the other members of Mean Streak for helping me along this rock 'n roll road. I would not have made it this far without you.
