a.k.a "Suzy Homewrecker"
I was born here in Sierra Vista, Arizona. I've always wanted to play drums. I got my first toy drum set at age 2. I got my first Ludwig snare during concert band in 4th grade (which I still use!). I played in marching band through Jr. High and High School. I got a real (if you call a CB 700 "real") drum set at age 13 but didn't join a band until I was 16. At age 22 I moved to Hollywood, California to play Punk Rock. I spent the next 13 years recording and touring the states and Europe with such bands as "Last Round Up", "Rejected Mother Fuckers", "U.X.A", "Snap-Her", "Nina Hagen", "Rebuilt V-8", "Total Chaos", "Lisafer", "The Masons", "The Spooky", "The Monoshocks", "Hollywood Hate" and "Rotgut". I now rock a late 70s Slingerland Kit, by the way --
After Having a child and moving back home to raise her, I started jamming with Randy (guitar wizard) and later Lloyd (bass and brains) and Joey (perfect pipes). I was immediately reintroduced to the music of my youth. Back in grade school, before I turned to Punk Rock, I used to listen to bands like: Ozzy Osbourne, The Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Ratt, Van Halen, AC/DC, Journey, Cinderella, Metallica, Motley Crue and many more Heavy Metal and Hair Metal bands. Playing this style of music has definitely been challenging and a big change from the fast pace and repetition of most Hard Core and Punk Pands like: Minor Threat, Black Flag, Reagan Youth, Dayglo Abortions, Zeke, The Dwarves, The Ramones, The Misfits, etc., etc., etc...
The Metal era was one of the most musically challenging eras of our time. Don't let the hair, make-up, spikes and spandex fool you! I'm honored to rock this gig!
